Breast Lift with Implants
Breast lift surgery, or mastopexy, can restore a youthful position and shape to breasts that sag due to age, pregnancy, or weight loss. However, a large percentage of women lack the volume they once had, or would like larger breasts with their breast lift procedure. For these women, Dr. Fisher combines breast implants with breast lift at his Nashville, TN plastic surgery practice.
To learn more about the benefits of a breast lift with implants, request a consultation online at Dr. Fisher's office, or call (615) 329-4227 and one of our associates will schedule your appointment.

Request Your Consultation Before & After PhotosChoosing Breast Lift with Implants
At your consultation appointment, Dr. Fisher's first objective is to get to know you, your concerns, and your expectations. He will take the time to answer all of your questions and inform you of exactly what the breast lift and breast augmentation procedures involve. Based on this discussion and a physical examination, Dr. Fisher will offer his recommendation for the best approach to your procedure, including incision type and implant type (if applicable).
A breast lift alone can restore a more youthful shape, feel, and appearance to stretched, drooping breasts. However, many women with sagging breasts have also lost breast volume, and trimming the skin and repositioning tissue may ultimately result in a slightly smaller breast. Many women come to Dr. Fisher seeking breast augmentation in Nashville, which can add volume to the breasts, but does not correct sagging. In fact, augmentation without a lift can actually worsen the sagginess of the breasts. Often, the most complete and satisfying breast enhancement involves combining a breast lift with breast augmentation. Dr. Fisher specializes in creating beautiful, natural looking results through this approach.
Your Surgery & Recovery
At your preoperative appointment, Dr. Fisher will give you detailed instructions to follow before and after your surgery. The more closely you follow these instructions, the better your chances for a smooth and uneventful surgery and recovery. This outpatient procedure is performed using general anesthesia at our surgery center for your optimal care and safety. Combining breast implants with a breast lift typically takes between 2 and 3 hours.
Dr. Fisher will remove your sutures in approximately 1 week, but you may be able to return to work and light activities prior to that. You will need to take it easy for a few weeks following your surgery, with no heavy lifting or rigorous activity for approximately 3 weeks. You will also wear a snug-fitting surgical bra to help with comfort, swelling and healing. As incisions fade and swelling subsides, you will see your new look gradually emerge.
